Today: LOVE MEME

Since this is a garden party there are many flowering plants at our disposal. In fact, there is an endless supply of virtual blooms. So I invite you to select flowers to give to your favourite person(s) in fandom: a slight twist on the traditional 'love meme'.

Guidelines:
- Comment with the username of someone who you think deserves flowers. (You can do so anonymously.)
- Reply to username comments, saying which flower(s) you are giving to the person and (most importantly!!) why

e.g. 'I give norwich36 a big bunch of gerberas to cheer her up in this busy week she's having!' OR 'I give dionusia a huge bunch of apple blossoms coz she writes beautifully and is completely hilarious to boot'

Be as creative (or as simple) as you like--you'll be making someone else smile and brightening their day! If you wish to give flowers anonymously, that's fine too (IP logging is off). Have fun!

I am giving K a whole cherry tree in bloom because a mere bouquet couldn't cover how much I appreciate her warm, enthusiastic, and generous nature. I know I wouldn't have become a frequent LJ visitor without having had the incredible luck to be friended by her after my second post -- she helped me and so many other newbies feel at home. To top it off, she brings such insightful analysis to every fandom in which she participates, and we're all the better for it!

Then I'll add a bunch of brilliantly yellow poppies so she can put them on her desk...because this is a tough time.

I really do look forward to the time when we can do post-episode nattering together. It will be wonderful! And I'm SO glad you stayed on LJ and have shared your insights, writing and sense of humour with us all. *hugs*
