Today: LOVE MEME

Since this is a garden party there are many flowering plants at our disposal. In fact, there is an endless supply of virtual blooms. So I invite you to select flowers to give to your favourite person(s) in fandom: a slight twist on the traditional 'love meme'.

Guidelines:
- Comment with the username of someone who you think deserves flowers. (You can do so anonymously.)
- Reply to username comments, saying which flower(s) you are giving to the person and (most importantly!!) why

e.g. 'I give norwich36 a big bunch of gerberas to cheer her up in this busy week she's having!' OR 'I give dionusia a huge bunch of apple blossoms coz she writes beautifully and is completely hilarious to boot'

Be as creative (or as simple) as you like--you'll be making someone else smile and brightening their day! If you wish to give flowers anonymously, that's fine too (IP logging is off). Have fun!

I am giving the lovely Ms. K these wild violets because she has been so amazingly supportive of me for the past few years. I can't say enough about her. And she's so enthusiastic and intelligent about the things she loves. Fandom would be a truly bleak place without her.

I'm giving Melissa a bunch of wild flowers that I hand-picked especially for her, because I know she'll appreciate the abstract artiness of them and that I picked them with LOVE. I don't know what I'd do without her! She's one of my dearest friends and if I don't speak to her for a day I miss her really hard and start twitching.

I am giving this long-stemmed pink rose to Kate because, well...it's kind of porny in appearance. So it made me think of her. And also because she's a fabulous friend. There is a shortage of people in this world who are opinionated and unafraid to speak their minds or who do not suffer fools gladly, so she's always a breath of fresh air.
