OK, so I tried to draw Sarah out about anime at Brunetti's last night. (I was having one of their EXCLLENT winter Italian hot chocs.)

Me (perky): I'm really wanting to watch anime recently, well, ever since my trip to Japan, so if there are any series you could recommend, please let me know!
Sarah: blank
Me (still perk): 'Cos I know you always watched more than me, and I'm way more interested in anime now than I used to be ... so if there is anything you've heard of ...
Sarah: no, not really

(sigh)

This somewhat put a damper on me inviting her to watch something with me. I will return to my shell to re-perk myself for a later attempt ...

(where is a Cat when I need one? we used to tag-team the Sarah luring, remember?)
