Smallville Season 6 promo

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the people who are still cut-tagging for those of us who, until recently, were unspoiled in any way for Season 6. Thank you--you I do not curse.


Zod! Zod! Zod! I love how Zod says 'kneel' as if there's not even a question that someone wil not kneel. Hee! Sailing around in a billowing cape is fun too. Still crossing fingers that 'their battle' lasts more than five minutes...

And new boys! Yes, that's what this show needs. MORE BOYS! *g* I'm unspoiled so far as knowing how many eps they are actually in, but I'm excited about Jimmy, at least--I hope they make it interesting from a Chloe perspective, and I hope Lois gets to interact with him at least once. I'm all curious--is he still at the Planet? Does that mean he'll have been there for, like, TEN YEARS before Lois gets there? O.O Bizarre. But potentially enjoyable!

Hoorah for the S6 hype beginning! I'll endeavour to remain unspoiled for anything more specific, but I confess it was fun to see the promo trailer. *g*

I'm going to try to stay fairly unspoiled this season because last season I think the spoilers just made me dread episodes even more than usual. I've already cracked and watched the promo and read a couple of things though. I have no willpower *sigh*

It's bizarre how even though I hate so many things about the show, I'm still really looking forward to it. Hey, at least I know there's a couple more pretty boys to see this year!

Yeah--in my experience spoilers often have the effect of building up apprehension, suspicion and dread. And things can sound terrible in previews or as a concept and then be executed quite well. But if you've already groaned about them, it's hard to get into the fun... I like being unspoiled and by and large I have strong willpower. I don't mind having seen the preview though--it really doesn't give much context, and is just enough to pique my interest. Because MORE boys! Yay!

It's very possible that every qualm, squick, and other negative feeling I have regarding fandom is going to be overcome by MR saying three words in a promo clip.

I gave up on being completely unspoiled when TV guide had a big section on the new guys on SV, but I have been thinking of making a ranty post since lots of folks on my flist are not cut-tagging spoilers. What is *up* with that?

I'm really looking forward to Chloe and Jimmy, though. They both look so darn cute in the promo. I want to icon Chloe in that striped shirt, but so far all of the screencaps I have seen have been blurry.

I don't know! But my grump has been coming for a while... I think it is different here in Aus because we don't get the media 'spoilers' unless people on my flist choose to mention them without cut-tagging. So I'm used to being unspoiled--I never see 'next week on SV...' or any of that.

But I'm not good at staying grumpy long and am already excited about Jimmy! I'm really glad for Chloe too. There was a danger that she was at a character development dead-end--being all about Clark. So I like there being another character thrown in for her to interact with. And they look like they'd make a cute couple! (Eep! I'm already shipping? Get a grip! It's a promo!)

But they are SO ADORABLE! And they've only had about 5 seconds of screentime together. Imagine how adorable they'll be when they have more time together onscreen.

My grump about this has been coming for some time. *hugs* I guess it's different for me in Australia because we don't get the media spoilers--the TV ads, the magazine articles--unless people choose to talk about them on LJ. Yes..the Zod part had to be my favorite out of the whole trailer-so happy he fianlly said those three words we wanted to hear so badly in Vessel..at least I know I did :-).

I can't wait for Green Arrow or Jimmy Olsen. I think they will be great on the show..and the whole "They grow 'em big in Kansas." definitely sounded, well..wrong..but we all know Jimmy secretly has a crush on Clark..right? At least in Superman Returns he does.
It was a lot of fun seeing the trailer..to be quite honest, I was wondering that same day when we would see it, and lo and behold it came on not once, but twice that night!

I just watched it!! I also like to remain unspoiled but americans are bad at remembering that non-americans don't see the promos etc that they do, so they don't consider them spoilers. I bitched about it last season in my lj when people kept talking about the content of the teasers without cutting.

Still, the promo is short and not very spoilery and it has ZOD!!!! And (it looks like) he tells *Clark* to kneel before him!!!!! Which is SO GAY. And then they fight and it's EVEN MORE GAY.

I am so happy.

I know, I know! Every so often it just gets to me... Actually it's discussing the new characters without cutting that really irks me--I don't WANT to know the plot surrounding them and whether they're in one ep or multiple eps. Ugh.

But yes--GREAT BIG GAY events of GAYNESS!!! I'm so sure he tells Clark to kneel. *nods* If he doesn't, I'll be very disappointed. Very. But trailer was very exciting indeed! There could be so much fun this season. *BG*
