Hee, Germany will win the Cup! *g* But Australia is in a tough group... they have to play against Brazil and Croatia. But I'm sure they'll win their game against Croatia (because you can't win against Brazil... Germany knows that. 4 years ago we lost the finale against them, so this year it's time for a revenge!)

Heee! You've got it all plotted out. Our hopes are pinned on Brazil triumphing over Croatia like 3-0 or 4-0, and then at least holding Croatia to a draw.

When we drop out, I'll switch to supporting Germany! Either way, I win! ;)

*lol* Then let's hope that Germany win tomorrow's game against Poland. For Poland it's already a finale since they've lost their game against Ecuador. They'll kill us or try to make a draw at least. But a victory for Germany might be better.

Tonight's Brazil - Croatia and I said the game ends 3:1 (because of the heat... it's so freakin' hot here in Germany, which is really not typical. *sighs*)

Well, Brazil 1-0 over Croatia. *sigh* You may not have been spot-on with your prediction, but here's a thought to cheer you up!

Germany won the World Cup in 54 and 74.
Multiply these two numbers together and you come up with 3996.
The last World Cup that Germany won was 1990.
Subtract 1990 from 3996 and you get 2006.
So purely mathematically Germany will win this year.............

Brazil was so disappointing last night. And Ronaldo could've died on the field; nobody would've recognized it! Was he even awake? *shakes head*
But now I'm convinced that Australia will make it to the round of the last sixteen!

Hee, and the math thingy: that's the best arithmetic I've lately seen. And we have a lot of those in the nwespapers these days.
There's even a German band singing about this! *g*
