The weekend has contained a lot of it. We had flash storms and the house flooded. It came out of the light fittings and poured down the walls--even to the ground floor. I'm still mopping up, or rather drying out. The cat has caught a cold. The combination of fans (to dry the carpets) and all damp upholstery can't be good for anyone, even the little furry one!

So thanks a lot, real life. You suck.

Also? I'm hit download limit already and have to wait til the 6 March for more. So no new battlestar eps for me until then.

And LJ projects, like finishing my 7 plot essays, are on hold until I can summon some more energy. Meanwhile, comfort dvds are required. See you when I'm sane again! *g* *waves*

Thanks! *g* Actually it ended up being comfort book under comfort doona, as watching dvds left me too much free headspace to look around the living room at the damp walls and carpet! Hiding under the doona was a LOT better. *g*

Watch out for mold! After the hurricanes that whacked us the past two years, there've been a lot of problems from the mold that develops after a house floods. Please monitor your health, and I hope things improve.

Comfort book helped! I wasn't very successful with the dvds due to a) the electicity shorting out and b) they meant sitting in the living room staring at the damp. So I curled up under the doona with a book and soon slept.

Things are getting better--the landlord is coming today to see to things, so hopefully when I get home, house will be being mended.
