Lex dead actually BLOWS MY MIND in such a way that I can't begin to believe it is true. Yet the show played it out like it was. But wow, world's most ignoble death for the person Clark had a Tragic Destiny with... are we supposed to buy this? the bit where Clark picked up Lex!dust and stared at it meaningfully?! You've got to be kidding.
I will be writing at length about why this was a betrayal of everything Smallville stood for.
