took all the woe for Dee's death because it all has to be about him Well it IS all about him, don't you know? ;p
she's always been random and a bit self-centred Haha, TRUE that.
I like that she backed off when Lee trumped her in the "I've had a crappy day" stakes. For once Yeah... except I'm not sure. I think I might find finding my own dead body MORE disturbing than my ex topping themselves. Does that make me selfish?
The Earth/Cylons/Final Five/creators thing is horribly muddled and currently makes Smallville look coherent. How did they manage that? It is a feat I thought never achievable! It really boggles my mind. How did things become such a mess?! How is it possible that ANY show outdoes Smallville in sheer nonsense terms?! *flails*
after watching a huge block of episodes, I'm starting to see the relentless grimness less as Art and more as cowardice Dude, I came to that same conclusion on week-by-week viewing as well. At a certain point you start to wonder if RDM is actually capable of writing anything else--and then it seems less profound and more like wallowing.
People laugh more than that, crisis or not. Maybe not this week, but humans/cylons developed a sense of humour for a reason, Ron. I know! I was so thrown that they randomly inserted cheery!Helo and cheery!Sharon THIS week, playing with their child... why couldn't we have seen that normalcy another time? Having it appear here made it seem so bizarre, because this was the week where being gloomy would have been most appropriate! But another time? Yes, please!
I did like the Gaeta webisode. It was interesting and self-contained and had sweet awkward Romance. I liked it in the end too. I thought it was terribly clunky to begin with but Alessandro's performance won me over. I don't think it did the Cylons any favours though...
