Too much TV!

Ok, there is officially waaaay too much TV these days. And I want to talk about all of it! But clearly this is beyond the capabilities of my schedule. So. You get to choose!

You're not escaping my Smallville posts--it hurts me enough that I haven't posted a full 8.03 review yet! So they are non-negotiable. And I'm unlikely to have much to say about Mad Men or Pushing Daisies--and they may slip to my 'catch up with when I can' list. But I can't decided how to prioritise the following shows--so I thought I'd gauge the interest level from my friendslist to decide.

Well, they're all good shows. (Just because I can't personally get into some of them doesn't mean I don't recognize quality TV. And someday I will get to watch Dexter. And True Blood!)

Oh, Kate, I would love you to watch (and bitch about) True Blood eventually... apart from anything else it's porn, porn, porn (with vampires!). I have faith that one day you will and am happy to wait for that day. :)

Well I picked three (Dexter, TB and SCC) so I think you should post on them all. But YES sooooo much TV YAY!!!! And I have heard good things baout Mad men is it that good?

Mad Men ... it's good, but it's not 'for me'. I basically dislike all the characters except one, so it's kind of unpleasant viewing, but it's very well made. I find it a very cold show though and don't have a lot to say about it. It moves very slowly and I think you have to find the lead guy charismatic to be really engaged (and I don't). But don't let me put you off--if 50s/60s aesthetic/era interests you and you don't mind watching a LOT of chauvanism, then go for it. ;)

Hee! Posting about Gossip Girl is so fun and easy I'm likely to do that anyway... that show is the best entertainment! I am busy hooking a friend of mine on it... and I am happy to report that her love of Dan is waning and her enjoyment of Chuck and Blair is growing. :D

Your post reminded me that I'm way behind on SCC! I have to watch online due to schedule conflicts, so it slips my mind sometimes. There really is too much TV on if I'm *forgetting* to watch some of it. :)

I've been pretty bad about posting my TV thoughts. Brain is overloaded!

That could be a process of natural selection where shows are concerned: if you forget them they're the ones less worthy? o.O

Though at the moment I'm feeling there are lots of equally worthy shows around.
