Hello LJ peoples! I'm sorry I haven't been around much--I've been pulling long hours in efforts to get some time off over Christmas, and it's paid off. I had the day off today and am feeling considerably more relaxed already. Barring any major emergencies, I'll probably just pop into work once between now and the 2nd Jan. Hooray!

I imagine most of you are off with your families for Christmas or other holiday celebrations. Best wishes to you all! May you have a safe and happy holiday season.

Have a happy Christmas! I was at the office until 10:30 tonight, but I am done, done, done and leaving for a plane in 7 hours. I'm even packed (mostly). Now I just need to avoid sleeping through my alarm, and in 20 hours or so I'll be in Chicago!

I may even have more internet time there. Possibly. The computer's in the living room, so it depends on what everyone else is doing.

I'm so glad you're finally getting some time off--have a great holiday!

I hope you're managing to have a wonderful Christmas :) There has been much eating, drinking and celebrating here, and I'm about ready to curl up with about a hundred and fifty hours of tv on DVD to watch ;)

Yes, it's been lovely. I avoided arguing with my mother and we had some lovely food and I lounged around reading and knitting. It's Boxing Day now and a lovely sunny day here so I'm going to do more reading in the sunshine, I think. And some vidding. I wish the break would last forever, but I'm going to pop into work tomorrow and answer some emails. Then I'm off until 2nd, and I've got my birthday and then my cousin coming to stay.

We are off to Mt Buller for a short break over New Years - taking Wilson - and I am looking forward to no more work for the next week. I have 2 books, the extended release of Razor, and the final season of the sopranos to keep me busy.
