"Slightly dorky"--nice phrasing. :) I do believe I'd be more than slightly dorky if I took that quiz.
But oh, WT! I stayed home too!
I had plans to go out last night but poor M stumbled home and immediately went to bed. We're talking asleep from 5-8pm. Then I woke him up and asked if maybe he needed to eat dinner. He was so overtired he just had a little snack went back to sleep again. The quietest Friday I've had in a while.
Is this just because I wouldn't choose the internet over sex and went through my online gaming phase when I was about 14 and am over it now? Because they need to get some new criteria.
Dude, I'm so lit dorky that at the "Is nerdiousity a word" question I started to fume and yell at the screen. Especially the "No, it's nerdiocity" option.
Because it'd be NERDIOSITY. No "u." As in, 'The state of being quite nerdy.'
From the adjective-forming suffix '-ose' + abstract noun forming suffix '-ity'; -ose in turn derives from Latin -osus, a, um, "full of, abounding in, tending toward." And I didn't need to look any of that up, HOW DORKY IS THAT?
I wanted to write in and tell them, "If you're going to make up a word, you posers, do it properly."
I'm just still pouty about my awkwardness score. :P There should be something for "Have you ever disrupted work and other social functions by only wanting to talk about Battlestar Galactica?" I should get some honorary Dwight Awkward Points for that.
PS can I email you for help with the fic? I'm going out to dinner now, but maybe if you have time I could run something by you.
Heh heh heh, but what you fail to realise is that everyone taking that test has ALSO done that! :-p One of my most awkward work moments ever was when someone asked who my favourite actors were... a lot of blank stares followed.
Yes! Email away! :) I am wiling away a sunday afternoon ignoring the fact that it's father's day...
hon, you are cute. and hey, i only planned what to do on these two days off on thursday. i am story blocking the Heroes AU and writing about Petrellis flying, and also being lazy and not letting work call me in. So, surveys and memes are fine.
heh. what's actually been going on this weekend is not so lazy- i've been doing yardwork, working on the garage, and laundry. there has been some writing, though.
How am I not a nerd? I feel strangely left out. Just because I don't have a lightsaber clipped to my belt right now doesn't mean I don't want one. With that swishing sound. :-)
Hee hee hee! You need to up your sci-fi score, I reckon. ;) I'll send you some DC comics or something! Because those must have helped my score a fair bit. I think the quiz was pretty hardcore nerdery.

Um...do they have any idea how awkward I am?
