Actually, on first watching I really disliked Clark for much of Season 3 and 4.
WHAT?!? *clings to Clark* Okay, I have to admit that I'm a bit of a Clarkster (Clarkian?). I've questioned his choices sometimes, but I've never lost sympathy for him. Maybe that's because I came to the show so late. I've found, with other fandoms, that fannish entry into a show often dictates what characters they'll take to.
I find this hysterical because I fic Lex, so by all appearances I'm a Lexian. Plus I futurefic him when he's got almost no excuse for any of his behaviors. He's been on the dark side so long at that point, he's redecorated a few times. What does that say about me? Er. I adore him, I do, but he gets away with a lot, the sneaky guy.
