Lee is right: if no trust exists, they are all monsters, for they will all judge from a platform of suspicion and mistrust and not out of love.
This really, really struck me - particularly since the Cylons seem so desperate to find out about love and maybe that really *IS* the one thing that distinguishes humans from Cylons. Or, not love, but EMPATHY, which is maybe based on trust?
Anyway, this was all lovely - I would have longer, more specific comments, but they all come down to "I agree!" :)
