I'm really glad you're beginning to find some balance in that tricky work/life equation. I can certainly believe freelancing makes that all the more difficult.
I hear you about Christmas. I'm planning on spending mine writing about a billion reports and essays for the Masters course. Which I don't mind actually, as it means less time for the moping I usually do during the holidays. I'm also trying to psych myself into vidding again over the break. I've downloaded some new editing programs to see if that helps. It's like you say, though - it's so damn time-consuming!
