In before heat
Jan. 27th, 2009 07:45 pm*giggles* I amuse myself.
So, apparently Melbourne's about to have its worst heatwave in 100 years--four days in a row over 40 degrees. That's, *checks*, 104 degrees Fahrenheit. It was 'only' 36 today.
So far my coping plan goes like this:
- drink a smoothie for breakfast every day
- sleep downstairs
- keep the evaporative cooler well iced
- be grateful for aircon at work
- avoid going outside at all costs.
If I'm not around for the rest of the week, I'll be on the sofa fainting.
ETA: *glances at moodicon* Not that kind of hot...
