Reality *sigh*

OK kids. I have no idea what declaring this will achieve but since this is the craziest thing to happen in fandom since I've been here, I'll be part of the madness... I've met toadstoolsmiles and mskatej, as well as supacat who I've known for 15 years.

I haven't seen updates on anything as I've been very busy with RL in the last day or so--a friend who just got back from China is staying with me. So if I'm not around much, that's why.

Last night the email I send the hospital got bounced back--evidently it hadn't got through. I seem jinxed--I can't make it through on a phoneline either.

I've also pretty much come to terms with the whole 'we'll never really know' scenario, because, hey, you never really do know online. I'm going to echo nehellania and say I'll believe all of you are real until proven otherwise. And if you're not, *shrugs*, well I still enjoyed interacting with you fannishly. :-)

BSG 3.10 Unfinished Business

Ok, come and laugh at Boppy! It'll be fun!!

I was so chicken to watch this ep that I a) got drunk and b) roped in a friend for moral support. She had never seen an episode of BSG before. I figured some objectivity was required in this matter. I gave her the briefest of brief rundowns on the show and showed her dualbunny's If God is a DJ vid, which was possibly a mistake, since she developed the biggest crush on Kara EVA. (Memo to self: do not show dykes that vid!) Then I showed her laurasha's Lee vid, with running explanatory commentary from me--Lee needs a frak-load more explanation than Kara--and she was somewhat less impressed but agreed to make sympathetic noises at appropriate moments, and so we began...

Despite the recent shenanigans, the fandom is soldiering on adorably well, in fine Smallville tradition. So we had some character continuity issues. Meh. We've seen worse! ;-)

The 50_in_50 entries have been posted, and I want to pimp one I had a teeenie hand in: talitha78's gorgeous 'Chicago' vid. It's full of Season 6 pretty and is so shiny and great and if you missed it because you were revelling in your fame on Fandom Wank riveted to the unfolding drama, then I suggest that now is a good time to head on over there to download and enjoy!
