I think rewatching reminded me of how much love I have for these characters (now, you might not know this, but I really disliked Sharon and Helo the first time I watched season 2, and rewatching, I've come to really appreciate both of them!)
Plus, it's helping me to be all zen because no one else is watching these episodes at the same time, so I'm not feeling defensive or whatever.
And yes, agreed - it wasn't so much lack of Lee in "The Hub" that made me not like it so much (and there were parts I DID like a lot!) it was the fact that I found the bits in between those parts exceedingly tedious!
