That is SO heartening! :) I felt like a little newbie rebel when I realised that I really didn't agree that all literalism is bad. But what persuaded me most was my experience as a vid viewer I started thinking: if some of my favourite successful vidding moments involve some degree of literalism, then surely that 'rule' can't be so rigid? It's encouraging to hear that length of time vidding is not the defining indicator of where people stand on this issue. :)
