I mean Kara's refusal to divorce Sam on religious grounds may well stem from her *beliefs* but they are just thoughts, thoughts can be distorted. They may have just been a way to also help Kara live with the decision that *she* had made. Mmm, oh, i love that analysis! Yes! You're right that it does tie into these themes of being able to make a firm decision and stand by it and whether the actions matter more than the intention--which are we judged by?
I guess you've got Lee who is capable of making very firm decisions as a commander, but waffles in his personal life. And Kara who makes very firm decisions in her personal life and never looks back, but who would struggle (I believe) to make the sort of calls we saw Lee make in Razor.
