And there's more Bollywood glory in the form of a Chak De! India vid. :D It's gorgeous! There should be more festivid-like challenges so there can be more Bollywood vids. *nods vigorously*

YEAH!!! *high fives you* I love that movie so much. On top of the awesome girlpower and the Sharukh crying, there is also the fact that it was filmed in Melbourne! That makes me so happy! \o/ And that vid is amazing!

And, I just loved the way the ferocity of these girls was channeled, and not apologized for. Their coach respects them AS THEY ARE, and dares anybody to say differently. <3s this movie madly.

That is so true! I kept expecting that movie to slip into gauche sentimentality but it never did. It was very moving but it didn't sacrifice character--the girls were allowed to remain who they were (no ridiculous character transformations!) while also having classic 'growth' stories.

*nods* Right? Usually, with this sort of movie, I groan at certain parts, because these things just HAPPEN. But not with this movie, and I never get tired of watching the girls come together and remain themselves.

Not to mention the way that they are just so adorable with their coach. That he is the ONLY man they will listen to, EVER, and there is such trust between them.

And for instance, when they are playing the 'tough girls' and EVERYONE is together on that. I mean, you see Bindia get on her feet, and Kabir is just FURIOUS. You see the TEAM right there, and that they will do anything for each other, and will play DIRTY.
