Attention Clois fans! There be fic. (Why am I talking like a pirate? NO CLUE other than the fact that my job is frying my brain. When is Friday again?)

Kate's Secrets She'll Never Tell is deliciously Lois-centric Clois, with a very Season 8 flavour and lots of hot sex. Yay! It even sells me on the dynamic I was less than happy about on the show initially. (Yes, I've moved on from my hissy fit now!) It's also uplifting as all get out! (I was powerless to stop the grinning while betaing.)

In semi-related news I had a nightmare last night about Clark having to wear a green jacket (fashion ew!) secretly laced with Kryptonite, but he didn't realise he was wearing it. Chloe took advantage of this opportunity to snog him and I was ragey and wrote 'FUCK YOU SMALLVILLE' in my journal.

In my dreams I'm way more ragey and territorial than in real (fandom) life. ;) I thought you'd like to know.

LOL! That's really not that far from what actually happened in Rush when Clark had that red kryptonite in his pocket and didn't realize it - only I guess Chloe wasn't technically taking advantage since she was buzzed herself. Too funny though!

Oh, and yes, Kate's story is wonderful. Kudos for the beta-ing.

I like the reflected glow from beta-ing. I always hover around the comments pages of people I've beta-ed for grinning at the feedback. ;)

M has dreams he's Lee on the Pegasus fighting six basestars all alone. I have dreams that I'm pals with Lee and matchmaking him with Sam, and they're both very cute in their cabin by the beach together.

I probably should have written in my LJ about that one!

Really? Neat. I don't remember my dreams very often...but it sounds like you do.

M always has the same kind of dream...he's fighting heroically, outnumbered, trying to save the day. Really predictable. But his RL workplace has had several email server and other technology meltdowns so he's been having these variants where he's trying to fix the Pegasus all on his own. He even made us watch "Exodus" all over again -- he keeps saying, "It's the OTHER psychotic act of badassery!" Because everyone remembers the Galactica dropping into the atmosphere, but no one remembers how badass it was to sacrifice the Pegasus. He feels quite passionately about it! I wish I could get him to write a post and get it all out, hee.

My dreams are way less structured. In that one Lee and I were having some deep thinky conversation while we were all on a hike to the cabin. Sam didn't talk so much, but he was quite content to tag along. It was pretty cool! I think it's funny I have my clear favorite even in dreams, though. :) Then I told them to ditch Kara and they smiled at each other. So cute and shy!

They weren't shirtless, but they were both in tanks. I remember that. That was good. Not that I was anything but friendly and avuncular with them. ;)

I wish I could have sleeveless dreams more often!

Yeah mostly I remember nightmares and I do remember them a LOT, but I have had the odd Lee-dream that was quite happy-making. The ghosts-in-shower one was actually VERY scary, but it ended well. :) Like M, I tend to have very me-against-the-world dreams, however I am also prone to the MASSIVE GUILT dream. Foremost among this type is the one where I was responsible for the destruction of Earth and the enslavement of mankind to machines. *facepalm* Yes, in my dreams I am Gaius Baltar (not really)!

Sleevelessness in dreams should definitely be encouraged. I think the Leem where I saved Kara in the showers was also the one where I kept holding my (Lee's) arms up in front of me to admire them. :D :D :D

Friday is a mythical unit of time, which like proof of faith exists only in potentia and not in reality; this can be proven by the way that Friday never seems to arrive, shortly before it seems impossible that it could have been Friday already.

Is it wrong that I find it intriguing and adorable that even subconscious!Bop wants to beat up the show producers over Chlark interaction, Kryptonite laced or otherwise? They do say that if you're going to do something, do it with your whole heart.

I can interpret my dream quite easily: it is anxiety about the rapidly approaching non-Lois, Chloe-centric episode, which I have been told I should avoid. Let us hope it is not prophetic! (Because I've had prophetic dreams before now. *bites nails*)

In other news you absolutely must, must, MUST watch 8.8 because Erica's performance is amaaaaaaazing and the Clois is lovely.

At least there were no zombies in your scary Chlark dream - not that I find it inconceivable that Chloe's next power in her Peter-like arsenal of awesomeness is the ability to animate the dead and turn them into flesh-eating zombies.

Given the fact that you're a highly literate person - and an editor, no less - I don't find it hard to believe that you have prophetic dreams about tv shows; they're all stories, and there are only so many themes that can play out.

I had the chance to chat very briefly with DB (I get about four comments a day made on LJ these days - NaNo, like a flesh eating zombie, is consuming my brain and spare time) over her breakup with Heroes - particularly as I'm inclined to break up with the show myself - and she suggested that we catch up with SV instead, and come and watch the squeeing in your LJ. I rather like this idea - although I'd need to find time to watch - and I'm thinking that getting a massive infusion of good Chlois could tide me over any rage-inducingly bad episodes. Maybe. Ok, I know that didn't happen with BSG, but in BSG the writers seem to hate Kara/Lee, so what can you do? ;)

I think you should DEFinitely ditch Heroes and watch SV instead. Season 8 is rocking and has great new female villain(s) as well as the Clois awesome. It's heaps of fun! The SV writers have pressed the 'full tilt ahead' button with Clois now. Though I've heard that Lois is not in a few episodes mid-season which could be annoying.

Yes, in my dreams I am usually just me. Complete with livejournal. The only other thing I remember is that there were prostitutes involved in the plot of the week and Clark was Very Disturbed by them. *pats him*

I am sorry you have nightmares, but your dreams are so interesting.

I have always liked ragey!Bop! And I do have to resist the urge to write an O.C. (um, that would be you) plotting Chloe's demise after Clark-snogging. :-) Maybe someone ragey person will plot Chloe's demise this season! I don't have problem with her this season, but a near-death experience might make her storyline a bit more interesting.

Who knows WHAT lies in store in Chloe's plot this year. So far it appears to be completely random. They add a new element every week.
