Frazzled

Dear Job

Please give me my life back. Specifically please stop anyone else from resigning! There's only so much a girl can take. And when the assistant I hired two weeks' ago is already asking me if there's a reason why everyone is leaving the company, it's time to draw the line!

No love

Dear US-TV

Why do you have so many shows?! Must I watch all of them? I feel like a moth being drawn closer to a dangerous flame... I'm ignoring my sanity and getting lured by the shiny newness. So far my plan is to watch:
- Smallville (duh!)
- Friday Night Lights (for it is still fresh and exciting)
- House (in no great rush but eventually)
- Heroes (reluctantly/resentfully and possibly only until I remind myself how bad it is)
- potential new shows? maybe? I feel someone should alert me if they're truly worthwhile...

Dear LJ

Ack! I may never be able to read my f'list in entirety again! *cries* Oh for the days when I had such things as 'lunchbreaks'. Yes, I'm being melodramatic, isn't that what LJ's there for?! ;p

Cool!
I have seen the original UK The Office but I always find re-versions kind of weird... like watching something through a fairground distortion mirror or something.

But The Office becomes totally different in S2 and S3, they become different characters and there's a big change in tone. Plus the supporting cast is different, the plots are mostly different and it's incredibly brilliantly funny. I would give it a try.

Oh, interesting to know. Thanks! I'll bear that in mind.
