Fanvid: Hug My Soul

Song: Hug My Soul
Artist: Saint Etienne
Fandom: Nodame Cantabile
Summary: Megumi Noda expresses her love for Shinichi Chiaki through their shared passion (music)... and an invitation
Notes: Vidukon premiere, but actually I first made this vid as a 'thank you' to the YouTube viewers who made Get Me Away From Here I'm Dying my first vid to hit 10,000 on YT. They are, predominantly Japanese teen girls (thanks YouTube stats feature!). I meant to have another vid ready for Vidukon, but ran out of time, and so I submitted this instead. But it is meant first and foremost for the Noda fans. &hearts

That said I think this is a pretty accessible vid and if you watch it and feel your life is lacking such joyful romance--dancing teddy bears, champagne-bubble-exuding-pianos, joy rainbows and so on... let me know and I can pimp you into hook you up with this gorgeous show.

Noooooo, I can't watch this until I get home from work! But I will be back with feedback as soon as I do.

Just got home and dashed to my computer to watch. If joy is what you were going for you absolutely nailed it! Great song, upbeat song choice, and I adore every clip of Nodame just being stupid-in-love with Chiaki. Using the piano solos during the bridge worked very well too and that end hug makes me go "d'awwwwwww." But really, everything about this vid makes me grin like a lunatic. :D

Wait, for meeeeeee? Really? If that is the case, I could not have asked for anything better! I love it to itty bitty bits. ♥♥♥

It seems I am often found somewhere amongst an abstract horde of 13-year-old Japanese girls. (If you ever get it in your mind to make an Arashi vid, I am so there.)

But no, seriously, this knowledge has made my day. And if you ever need someone to be enthused about Nodame, then I am your woman, no questions asked. I'm already thrilled that you have more in mind! :D

The cuteness of this vid is UNREAL. But I guess that's the point. :)

Seriously, stellar work here. The cutting and the musicality are most excellent.

I somehow missed out on Puppy Powers. I guess I'll have to wait for you to post it.

I like the sparkly bubbles and the rainbows and the teddybears. It was all good. :)

Arashi is a band, but one of them is always in some j-drama or another. And they have a couple extremely dorky variety shows. Like here are three of them rowing a boat made of legos to Tokyo. Because why not, haha.

Ooh, I must go watch your Puppy Powers vid now. Have not seem the drama it's from, but much like you, I am very suggestible!
