I acknowledged Oliver's bitchiness and mixed emotions concerning Lex above, and I would include the 'karma' call in that. He's no saint.
Oliver was responsible for that kidnapping, and thus was both morally and legally responsible for the fact that Lex was tortured Yes, he authorised the kidnapping, however we also saw him take his minions to task for their use of violence--we hear him reprimand them and we learn he'd asked them not to use violence. That doesn't mean I don't think Oliver still has some responsibility for their actions. But he and Lex are on par on this type of issue--Lex has hired some incredibly disreputable people in his time as well. Neither of them are paragons in that regard. And they both need some lessons in minion control! ;-)
Lex's suffering at the hands of Oliver's minions was an interesting reversal of his own treatment of prisoners in Cyborg and Aqua. To me, Lex's actions are still worse because he took so much personal pleasure in them. But I can see we're not going to agree, which is cool. *g*
