Booker's analysis of comedy is the one I find most theoretically interesting, of all the plots you've discussed so far, and I like the way you have applied it to the series.

I wonder if all the failed comedic plots are part of the drive behind common fanfiction scenarios where everything gets fixed? Not that that doesn't happen in other fandoms, but when the prerequisities for a happy ending such as we are used to are set up and then snatched away, it makes sense that the viewers would rewrite them according to the conventions of the plot.
