The vid makes it look like a lot of fun, but there were also some poignant moments (flower-girl on stage spotting hand-holding in the audience), great balance of elements! Maybe I should try vidding in 10 minute blocks...

Date: 2010-04-02 12:41 pm (UTC)I'd not realised just how much motion there is Community - I know i've only seen half a dozen epiosdes or so, but there were loads of bits in this I recognised... enough to be familiar with the majority of the characters. I'm glad for that - between the Batman moment and the dancing sunflowers, there were a lot of my favourite moments in this.
I'm particularly tickled you included the crazy Spanish teacher - I think the sequence from about 2:30 onwards is my favourite, all the crazy, geeked out dancing and motion. You even included a scene that looks like the breakfast club! And the alien moment! It's as if you've bundled up so many bouncy moments of visual comedy and pulled them together to create something just... wondrous. I defy anyone to watch this and not be hugely cheerified by it :)
Have I mentioned all the flaily hand gestures you've woven in? The unrequited relationships? The exaggerated facial gestures? The giant sombrero? The little skip-cut you included at around 1:20 for emphasis? The duct tape look of death? The hilarious body muscle costume? People lseeping in drawers? The human Christmas tree? The whippy cream dessert tray wonder? The jazz hands.
