I know nothing about the technical aspects of vidding, but I will reiterate that "Middleman" is my favorite vid for anything ever. I don't know how many times I've watched it, because it's PERFECT :D

Also, I am completely with you on the inferiority complex thing (with writing fic) - I read other people's stories and think "DAMN! That was brilliant! There's nothing left to say!" Sigh! :D So you have to work through stuff, because if you feel the need to say something, then you should, no matter what others have done!!
