I was glad to be spoiled, because I had a much better reaction to Tess since I knew she was going to be taking over Luthorcorp and spending the season looking for Lex. *cries* It's the worst thing I've ever heard. :( I hates it. I do think it would have been better if I had been spoiled. I could have lowered my expectations accordingly. I didn't even realise the expectation 'new non-Luthorcorp villain' WAS a high one until it was ripped away from me. Boo!
I like this plot development, because it keeps the door open if they *can* talk MR into doing some guest spots--Luthorcorp keeps rolling along so he could just slot back into it. Yes... good point... I guess? I really strongly get the feeling that MR is not going to be coaxed back based on his recent interviews, and I guess that was one of the reasons I'd just assumed the show would move on. But maybe it's all an elaborate front and he could come back, which... well, maybe that would be worth putting up with a season of lameness. I guess I can hold out and wait for a Lexian smackdown for Tess in due course. I just wish I knew I could count on that.
I'm pretty sure she could have done it on her own, without their help Same! I really think she had it down.
If you see caps anywhere, let me know, because I want to make new Lois icons. Will do! I can't wait for some new Lois icons either. It feels like a new era.
I hope this shuts up all the Lois lightswitch people once and for all. We can just acknowledge that both of them are doing it the old fashioned way, working their way up from the entry-level by sheer power of their journalistic chops. It won't shut them up... but it SHOULD. Because at this point in time, even though I feel Lois is actually more qualified than Clark, I'm happy to wipe the slate clean and just accept they both have the position and go from there... hell, it makes for good TV! Why complain?
I'm telling you, you gotta watch out for the Russian caviar mafia--they have this sideline in human trafficking. In fact, they seem to be the main supplier of prettyboys to the CW. ;- So that's where they're getting them! Judging from the new 90210 though, the mafia have been failing their end of the bargain recently... ;) I say send the already-indentured-to-the-CW boys round to smack 'em into line!
Seriously, that plot could not have been funnier! It's rocketed to the top of my favourite implausible Smallville plots--right up there with Chinese prison torture.
