Ya, I'm not sold on Tess either. I actually think CF is a capable actor - I'm just not feeling the character. It really felt very shoehorned, and often, in this ep. I think it's a case of 'Too Much Tess, Too Soon.'

I did really like the JL scenes though and Clark was awesome throughout, IMO. As was Lois.

I'm trying to convince myself that the 'MM losing his powers' plotline will actually be resolved at some point in the future. It has to, surely!
